Japanese term or phrase: 行政上登録例
This is a heading in a company profile. It says in full: (会社名)主要行政上登録例, and it's followed by a list of about 30 items such as 建築工事業、マンション管理業、etc. Most end in 業, so I assume they are industries or areas the co. does business in. But the list also includes some oddballs like 石油製品販売届, 医療関連サービスマーク認定、無線局免許, etc. What is this a list of??? Thanks!

(Business) Licenses
Explanation:
事業 is going to be business. So if you have 建築工事業 it will be "construction business," マンション管理業 will be "condominium management business," and so on. These are the businesses in which the company is engaged. If you register with the government, you're basically getting a license to engage in that business. It's fairly obvious that the licenses come from the authorities, so I don't think you need 行政. Also, 例 could best be omitted in my opinion. It's rare to see "examples of" used on English websites, where the headings tend to be short and concise. Of course, it all depends on the client, right?

This definitely seems like the most natural English wording..... I, too, thank Susan, though, for the excellent explanation of what it all means. Arigato!

Explanation:
Registrations equired by respective governmental agencies (of all leves) in charge of that particula area, for private, semi-private companies/organizations in order to meet governmental restriction -- no wonder your lists covers all gamut of diferent industries.
The registration encompasses virtually all areas of industiries:

OR even volunteers organizations such as this are still required by the governmental stamp of approvals to operate:

agree  Duncan Adam: I agree with the explanation - the list probably seems odd because of the variety of activities that need licensing in Japan. I'd go with Casey for the translation, though: just 'licenses' or maybe 'licenses granted'
