negocios de tecnología de la información / negocios TI (TI: tecnología de la información)

Explanation:
negocios de tecnología de la información / negocios TI (TI: tecnología de la información)

When we want to translate concepts and expressions of the technology industry from English to Spanish we have to use the concepts and words used by the industry. The concept of “business” is translated for the technology companies as “negocios”.

Other expressions are more complicated and they don’t translate the real way of thinking of the technology people.

For this reason, like in my previous answer about “business intelligence projects” , in Spanish “proyectos de inteligencia de negocios”.

http://www.proz.com/kudoz/english_to_spanish/education_pedag...

By the way, in Spanish language “negocios” is a word more inclusive than “empresarial” and the word used for the providers of IT (information technology).

The Real Academia Espanola says about: “negocios”

negocio
Del lat. negotium.
1. m. Ocupación, quehacer o trabajo.
2. m. Dependencia, pretensión, tratado o agencia.
3. m. Aquello que es objeto o materia de una ocupación lucrativa o de interés.
4. m. Acción y efecto de negociar.
5. m. Utilidad o interés que se logra en lo que se trata, comercia o pretende.
6. m. Local en que se negocia o comercia.

And about: empresarial:
empresarial
1. adj. Perteneciente o relativo a las empresas o a los empresarios.

And something very important, in the IT (information technology industry), there are a lof of professionals who make IT business (negocios TI), but they are not “empresas” or “empresarios”, they are only freelance professionals making businesses (negocios).

The best is that you use the translation of "negocios de tecnología de la información" / "negocios TI". In other case, you have to ask what is "empresa" according to the different legal definitions of "empresa" in each country where the people speak Spanish.
