agree  philgoddard: But not "tradesmen's" - it's sexist, and it's not in the Italian.

neutral  James (Jim) Davis: @Phil, I have been "told" by *relatively* liberal clients (a woman) to change "chairperson" back to "chairman" even in the presence of female quotas on the board!? I see catholicism as a common denominator here.
