I was asked to check a resumé for an Urban Planner in Guatemala City. He had worked on an evaluation of the Impuesto Único Sobre Inmuebles (IUSI) and translated the name of the document as "Fiscal performance evaluation of the Single Property Tax (IUSI)" and I'm just not sure Single Property Tax is the correct translation.

Single Property Tax
Explanation:
SINGLE PROPERTY TAX

The policy sees land and property registration, reform of the ***single property tax*** and the closure of the National Housing Bank (BANVI) and its transfer to the Ministry of Communications, Infrastructure and Housing as the main determining factors in ensuring access to land, in terms of both security of tenure and the opening up of the land market.

"Unified" is the meaning of "único" here - a tax that brings together all the old separate taxes under one system/payment.
