What about me?

I was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador South America. I grew up there and studied in the American School since i was 8 years old. Being my teachers american, canadian, british and australian and that's true they have influenced greatly in my good intellectual formation and discipline. Also with foreign cultures and traditions, all for good.

Continued studies abroad in Boston Masachussets in private intitution. Then after entered university in Guayaquil i became TEFL teacher for two famous and important universities locally too.

I started working as Billingual Secretary-Translator since i was 17 years old, to very important enterprises locally as Johnson & Johnson, Dole Fresh Fruit (Standard Fruit) in South America, the American Consulate General (sworn translator there), Constructors (originally) of the Marine Port of Guayaquil, worked in the expansion (did all translations of contractual correspondence of this project), and also worked for Dam Constructors Daule Peripa and a Hydraulic Power Plant, very important in my country and far away the city of Guayaquil. Also worked for some Shipping Agencies and Audithors firms the most important there.

After retiring my position as Secretary. I worked independently with my own translations firm name TRADUCCI S.A., several years and very known down there until i moved to United States 3 years ago.

English is like my second language. I am still learning and let me tell you it is passionate and exciting this world of translating. I learn more every single day new things and bad to say the most difficult themes to translate came to my desk, tears when they were difficult but i got there. I consider myself an accurate and reliable tranlator. Most of my translated material are in international tourism magazines of my country and booklets for international fairs all about my country, around the world. I love my profession is a vast world and i would never stop translating. This is an ability and now a way to survive, for myself.. I love to teach and transmit all my knowledeges and experiences besides i can speak, read and translate other languages like italian my roots and german too. Thanks for letting myself be known here in ProZ. I have been here for several years and now came back.. I am a successful and very happy person, always there to help people to traspass the barriers of unknowing a language unknowing the world.
