自己紹介

I specialise in cook book translations and editing due to over six years experience gained in a book publishing environment. During this time I have translated and edited many cook books for international publishing houses in the USA, UK and Italy. Given that I am based in Italy, I have worked predominantly on Mediterranean material, although my interest and experience does extend geographically into other areas and also into other fields. I have also attended a Cordon Bleu cooking course to better understand actual cooking processes. I have been trained to edit cook books in both British and American English.

I have also worked as a senior editor in humanities books for the secondary school market and have considerable knowledge of geography, history, religious studies and travel and tourism , which I have applied in translations.
