I worked in Japan for three and a half years as an in-house Japanese/English interpreter/translator for a number of car manufacturers. I worked both in their executive offices and in R&D, being mainly responsible for translation. I had the opportunity to work with various materials, including R&D, quality control, production, finance, marketing and management. Since I had already gained diverse experience through teaching English, the banking profession and self-employment, I was able to successfully provide high-quality translation in a variety of fields. As an interpreter, I provided support for the display booth of a globally renowned carmaker at an international technology exhibition/conference.
Now I live in the UK and work as a freelance interpreter/translator. I also enjoy providing long-term services on location in close contact with those who need language support as I am very much a people person.
My motto is "Deliver the best quality" as I strongly believe that the best quality leads to the best results. As a professional linguist, I always go to great lengths to meet customers' expectations. Eager to learn new things, I am a self-starter as well as a team player. I am confident that my skills can contribute greatly to smooth and efficient communication. |
