I was wondering if anybody is actively using LocFactory Editor. I have downloaded version 1.3.5 but it won't launch, neither from the program itself nor from the sample files provided. Anybody any luck? I'm on a G3 Ibook 300Mhz 288 MB Ram with 10.3.9. I'm looking forward to hearing reports of positive experiences! Thank you in advance! | | | LocFactory 1.3 seems to work | Nov 24, 2005 |

I don't have much experience with the program. I downloaded it to test its ability to work with XLIFF files, not for doing actual translations. Thank you Rodolfo! No idea what's wrong then, I'll try and figure it out (although you're using 1.3... maybe 1.3.5 has a bug?) | | | Just tried 1.3.5 | Nov 25, 2005 |

Hi there, I work for TripleSpin - the company that produces LocFactory Editor. We've tested LFE on 10.3.9 without any difficulty, so this really shouldn't happen... I'd be more than happy to take a look at whats going on if you're inerested. You can drop me a line (here or via email) - a quick look at the console should get this sorted out.. Hi Mike, thanks for your reply. How shall I proceed? What information would you need to help me fix the problem? Looking forward to your nex post!
What information would you need to help me fix the problem?
Sorry about the delay in getting back to you, but it became obvious that the problem was simply OS X 10.3.9. The version of LocFactory Editor(LFE) that you have only runs on Tiger - OS X 10.4 The latest version of LFE has tested support back as far 10.3.5. Hopefully it'll turn out useful for you! Mike.

Hi Mike, thank you for your reply. It's good to know what was wrong! I'll get a macbook (as long as they'll be called that) as soon as they come out, so I should be able to fully enjoy all the features of LFE! Have a nice weekend!
