If so, can you please help me out with details please? Thanks so much to all of you! Consistency check, yes. Most QA functions should be able to catch mismatches with the termbase. But spell check? Don't see it, when the concept of spelling doesn't even exist in the language. | | | Sachin Gaonkar India Local time: 13:36 English to Marathi + ... I think most CAT tools can do something with the issue of inconsistency and no CAT tool can do anything about the issues related to punctuations, mistranslation and incorrect usage of characters. | |

For one of our client (basically from Video Gaming field), we are currently experiencing many issues related to punctuations, inconsistency, mistranslation and incorrect usage of characters in translations provided by the linguist. There are two ways you can mitigate this: Better translators, a decent editor, and a consistent style guide. A competent editor would easily catch the fact that there are in fact three ways, but no automated system can. | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » QA for inconsistency, mistranslation and spell check for Chinese, Korean and Japanese Wordfast Pro | Translation Memory Software for Any Platform
