Hello
When I try to export a file after translating with Transit, I get a message error. I have to ask my client to perform the export for me and to send me a .doc file (not a .docx file, as I cannot open it).
When I do not use Transit, I work without any problem with .docx files.
Have you ever encountered this problem?
Thanks for your help.
Jérôme

Happened to me too.
I now convert all docx documents to doc before processing. It is a work around..

Format check? Message details? Transit version? File type? Jan 12, 2017

Hi jeromeb,

normally I have no problem with docx files (even very complex containing pics and tables).

In addition, it might help if you'd share the content of the error message.
And maybe you can also tell us what Transit version / Service Pack you have and which file type you have used in the project.

Best regards,

O.N.

Transit version Jan 12, 2017

Hello,
Thanks for your replies.
I use Transit NXT, Version 4, Service Pack 8.
I always perform a format check before delivery ("Prüfroutine", blue-white flag symbol in my version).
As I receive packages ready for translation from my client, I cannot convert the source text before translation, unless I ask my client to do so.
Error message says (roughly translated from French) : " the file "xxx" cannot be opened. Some problems have been detected in its content".

Since your transit project is created by your customer, you are likely missing the files needed for export (COD files). Withouth them you cannot export.

I sometimes have the problem that if I export PDF files to Word for importing them in Transit, they get saved as RTF files even though the extension might be docx. Opening them in Word and saving them again as Word files usually helps. However, I also prefer to import doc files instead of docx files. And I always run Code Zapper before importing Word files.

As for the export function not working, I think AlSqur might be right.
