I am a Portuguese
translator living in Portugal.

My working languages
are Portuguese, English and Spanish.

My main areas of work
are social sciences, education, psychology, international organizations, politics,
and environment.

I also work in some business and leisure fields,among others.

I hold a degree in
the field of social sciences/psychology and honed my language skills through
language courses in private language schools and during my stays abroad, for
academic and/or personal reasons.

I first came in touch
with translation through my volunteer work with NGOs working with migrants and
asylum seekers. I later did further pro-bono work for other NGOs in different
areas, such as environment and fair trade.

I made the decision
to pursue a professional career in translation during my Master’s degree. I am
proud to say that I have since built a small client portfolio. To further hone
my skills as a professional translator, I also did a short translation
internship.
