Hi everyone,

I'm trying to save a target file, but Trados is giving me a "missing tag" error message. I checked and there is no missing tag. I even tried alt-insert to copy the whole segment as it is, but it didn't work.

Any ideas?

which version of Trados do you use? Studio, or the old 2007 version? If the old one, do you have the tag visibility toggled to full?
In case of Studio, text formating is sometimes not realized by visible tags, but Studio considers e.g. the text in italic or bold to be tagged. Try to hold CTRL key and move your mouse over the source text. In case there is some hidden formating, you will see it highlighted. If you find something, release the CTRL key, highlight the appropriate part of text in target, press and hold CTRL key again, move the cursor over the text in source and click. The formatting (hidden tagging) should copy into the target.
