I do not think that we require a "・" (dot) between "ハ" and "アレツ". In fact, there are several sites that have such an expression, but they are still minority. As you see the first link, most of the sites there use "ハアレツ", and it is suggested by the original spelling: it is a single word, and a dot is not necessary. (The Google search does not give the exact number of sites that use "ハ・アレツ".)
In addition, the author of the site suggested by cinefil uses "ハアレツ" in other pages of his/her site:
