Sep 30 '04  Orla Ryan: Regular thing
I'm so feeling the love in this room, people! ;-)

Bill has suggested an informal "open table" where we get a table somewhere (bar/restaurant) and translators can come and go and chat etc. I reckon once a month would be good. what d'ye think?

I will be at the ITIA thing next month, so count me in for any barfly activities afterwards! :)

O.
Sep 30 '04  Annette Lembach: good craic and special experience
That sounds good and I think it's a big disadvantage to live in Berlin and miss all the craic... (maybe I'll meet you next year?)

Annette

Hi maria, I also had this special food experience - but with fish chowder on the O'Connell bridge - and I guess the O'Connell Live Cam turned away very quickly ;)
Sep 30 '04  Maria Lorenzo: Hello Everybody!
I can't believe after waiting for so many months finally meet you I get food poisoning on the day!
I am gutted I didn't get to meet you guys... Thanks a million Brian for keeping me posted on how the meeting went, sorry I didn't get to reply but my internet connection is being crap lately... :o(

I just wanted to say that I would love to meet you and talk about translators stuff, and a lot of other stuff as well, so maybe we could meet soon? Even if it is not through Proz.com? Maybe we could keep each other's emails and organize something.

The ITIA, Irish Translators Association are organzing a meeting on Saturday 16th October, I am going to check it out so maybe if people are interested, we could meet there and then go for a drink or two and have a chat?

Let me know what you think, I promise I won't have any dodgy chinese food the night before! ;o)

Cheers,
Maria
