I find ProZ.com membership really valuable because I got many good new clients around the world.

While I have been part of the community for more than five years, I just became a member last month. I cannot believe how many contacts I have made since becoming a (paying) member... I have three new clients and these are some of the best clients I have ever had.

ProZ.com has been the greatest marketing tool I've used. My investment paid off really quickly and now I have more and better clients.

My impression and experience with ProZ.com is positive. I get the majority of my clients from there. I use the services, like the Blue Board and the webinars, I watch the International Translation Day each year. I've spoken to someone from ProZ.com regarding my rates and she was very helpful. I'd say the yearly fee is totally worth it. I think ProZ.com is definitely on the side of freelancers, I think it's a great platform and I'm so glad I found it.

About 90% of my clients have come from ProZ.com. I really don’t have a presence there and barely open the page, but the directory works and the right people have contacted me over the years.

This past year has been great. I woke up one morning deciding to go back to translating full time but I was not 100% sure that my decision was the right one. I left my "safe" English teaching job and recontacted my old clients. It didn't take long and I was soon back on track. Thanks to ProZ I have made contacts with new agencies around the world. I have met colleagues worldwide and found new friends... Words are my passion and this is the ideal job for me with growing children who love to see me around. 1. The BlueBoard - where avoiding one bad payer will cover your subscription
2. The Translators' Directory - where clients go looking for translators.

Стать членом сайта, безусловно, стоит. Я зарегистрирована на ProZ.com с 2002 г., но работу через этот сайт стала получать только после того, как приобрела членство. Годовой членский взнос окупился после первого заказа.

Avant tout, ProZ.com représente pour moi une plate-forme d’échanges internationale permettant de côtoyer d’autres traducteurs via les forums et les formations. J’apprécie également la possibilité de pouvoir obtenir des informations sur les agences de traduction et les donneurs d’ordre en général grâce au Blue Board (certes non exhaustif, mais ô combien utile !), et de l’aide en cas de besoin avec les KudoZ. De plus, grâce à ProZ.com, j’ai trouvé un client avec lequel je travaille régulièrement : espérons que cela ne soit que le début d’une longue série!

I never regret my decision to join ProZ.com, because I find it both rewarding and enjoyable to be a member of the world's largest portal for translators and interpreters.

In my case, an agency found me on ProZ.com and I got a dream job (10-year full time translation project) which changed my life completely. Later, I found a job post on ProZ which put me into $10K book translation project. Just 2 big ones in years but these were real jewels.

After several years of free membership I decided to change its status to a paid member ... and I regret that I waited so long!

Kudoz to ProZ.com and their Blueboard for translator and agency ratings!! It's worth being a paying member. I just let a company with late payment know that I was aware they had some negative feedback and that I would add mine by the end of the week if I did not receive payment by then. I also started following their profiles on LinkedIn. 5 minutes later I received my payment via Wise!
