gun (revolver) with personalized engraving
gun (revolver) with personalized engraving (with engraved name) awarded for military merit and loyal service.

lifetime service award
Usually given for exceptional service or dedication over a long period of time. It may have different names in different organizations.
Depending on the context, another (ironic) way to put it is the "engraved watch." In the US, this has been a traditional retirement gift given by companies to employees. I suppose the military equivalent is to present an engraved sword, pistol, etc.

: Good explination. So you get my agreement. I think a direct translation would be, "Engraved revolver."

Read my explanation again. I'm not saying that a lifetime service award is necessarily a gun. An engraved weapon is, indeed, a common military choice for such an award, but it could be anything.
