set iniţial de monede
The second half of December 2001 will see limited quantities of euro coins made available to the public in some parts of the euro area. It will be possible to buy euro coins in the form of starter kits at banks, post offices and, in some countries, at retail outlets. The starter kit will be an assortment of all the euro coins in a small bag. The starter kits will help consumers to familiarise themselves with the new coins. They will also enable a significant part of the public to make purchases using the exact change in euro as from 1 January 2002.
