: Mainly lanolin. I'd probably use 'wool fat' without further context. I think fat would normally be more likely. Fatty acids, fatty chains, etc. Not grease or greasy.

Sans plus de contexte, je propose ce mot. Il est le même en français et en anglais. C'est la graisse que produisent les moutons pour isoler leur laine de l'humidité. C'est un signe de bonne santé de l'animal.
