yes, my dictionary says bulk goods and I have seen bulk material(s) too, it depends on the context I imagine:)

treating the part of the cereal crop that is thrown away (Shutt to me is the part of something not used - e.g. Shutthaufen, pile of rubble!)in order to relieve load/strain/exposure to toxins of the corn itself (Keim being the part that is eaten)??? "Belastung" is used twice and you are probably talking about chemicals ?? (The bulk material at the end of the harvesting day is chaff and straw???)
