I wish I had the time to search for references! I am dyslexic and have been all my life, my son is also dyslexic. It is the perception structure that differs from the more common perception structure that allows people to read from right to left without turning leters and number around. Dyslexics often live/think/perceive in images, so the structure is more abstract and often includes much more information than is aimed for in written/oral communications. But we don't SUFFER (just thought I'd add that)!
