Greek term

Διαφορά Ισοβάθμιων Ποσοτήτων

Greek to English Science Mathematics & Statistics Mathematics
I imagine that this should be rendered as something like 'the difference between quantities of equal depth', but this makes no sense to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Discussion

Joseph Brazauskas (asker) Jun 15, 2007:
Ισοβάθμιων I was given no context and I could not find this term anywhere in the standard classical lexica. Nevertheless, insofar as my knowledge of mathematics carries me, your suggestion sems to be correct.
Nick Lingris Jun 15, 2007:
Strange choice of words. It actually means "difference between quantities of the same degree" ("of the same depth" would be ισοβαθών). Does this make sense to you? If not, you'd better provide some context.
