To Mr Tomara: I assume the Asker\'s source to be a scientific paper dealing with mythology, and thus the need for accurate descriptive terms, not those of metaphorical potential (if the latter IS the case i\'d support your serendipitous Olimpian thing, i really like it)

The text is rather ironical, I presume, and in such context Olympian IMHO would perfectly fit. If however the author does seriously consider the ties between the supernatural world and the ours, we should indeed translate literally and then NEBOZHITEL\' is a \'heavenly being\'
