Source text - English Diabetes is a disease associated with insulin, a hormone secreted by the pancreas. This disease is caused by high blood glucose levels that result from a deficiency of insulin. Hence, this leaves too much sugar in the blood that the body cannot benefit from properly. There are two types of diabetes: juvenile diabetes and adult-onset diabetes.

Seeking to reignite efforts to wipe out the deadly mosquito-borne disease, philanthropists, business leaders and ministers from the donor and malaria-affected countries pledged £2.7 billion ($3.8 billion) to drive research and innovation and improve access to malaria prevention and treatments.

وقد سعى رجال أعمال ومتبرعين ووزراء من عدد من الدول منها مانحة للتبرعات وأخرى متضررة بالملاريا إلى القضاء على هذه الأمراض المميتة التي ينقلها البعوض وذلك من خلال تعهدهم بمنح مبلغ 2.7 مليار جنيه استرليني أي ما يعادل 3.8 مليار دولار في سبيل الأبحاث والابتكار وتحسين الوصول لوقاية وعلاج من الملاريا.
