Panel discussion: Wellbeing at Work Hosted by Drew MacFadyen, this discussion brings together four wellbeing experts around the issue of staying not just safe but sane during this crisis. Ivana Štulić is an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology, coach, trainer, consultant. Elena Jiménez Alvarez Elena is a Spanish Translator, Voiceover Artist, and Yoga Coach. Flor Montero is also a psychotherapist who specializes in the fields of hypnosis, NLP and Body Psychotherapy. Jackie Doble has been a freelance translator and interpreter for 12 years, but is also a trained yoga therapist, meditation teacher and group facilitator. Speak plainly: make your brand heard In this session, Rita Pang explains how 2020 has been a difficult year for the global economy, and many of us are going through one of the biggest dry spells ever seen. As someone who's based in Hong Kong, a city which has seen dramatic political changes in 2019 and now COVID19, she shares a few pragmatic ideas which would, hopefully, contribute to your navigating through this global crisis. She also speaks about her past year of experiencing for the first time how to network, sell, and write using the concept of Plain Language. This session will offer some quick tips on how you can use simple but effective ways to step up your branding game as a language service provider. Episode Two of Winnie Heh podcast “How to Navigate Job Search Amid Uncertainty”was a conversation with Matt Conger, CEO of Cadence Translate and Johnathan Rechtman, Co-founder of Cadence Translate and a conference interpreter. Seems the problem was that on was with http. If I click on just http and the rest, link works fine; otherwise I get a completely blank page. Maybe Andrew can fix that so link works properly. | |
