Dear colleagues,
I have been put in a position by ProZ.com staff that forced me to take a very difficult decision: remove my profile and leave the site.
I have never discussed my differences with site staff here (not even my resignation last year as a Moderator of the Literature/Poetry forum) and I will not do so now, but I did not want to leave without saying goodbye to my colleagues with whom we have shared so many discussiones on etymologies, poems, metaphors, prepositions , and, yes, rates!
Both Au the translator, and Au the vehement advocate of the profession will certainly continue active somewhere else.

It is really a pity that you have come to that conclusion, but I understand your position and of course I accept it. I know that you are everywhere so colleagues will surely know where to find you.

Last year Proz lost very valuable coleagues, and today another one. I won't say that I'm surprised by Au's decision, because I'm not. It's really a pity that Proz doesn't get the meaning of these decisions.
