Dear Sirs,

I am contacting you to offer my services as a translator from English to Spanish and Catalan. My name is Mariona Roca and I was born in Barcelona (Spain) 31 years ago. I have a degree in Audiovisual Communication by Pompeu Fabra Uniersity, Barcelona, and I also studied English Translation in Rosario, Argentina. Since I recently finished my translation studies, I haven’t worked as a translator yet, but I would like to have the chance to show that I am qualified to do so. I want to ask you if there is any kind of test you do to your future collaborators or you would prefer that I sent you some of my translations I made as a volunteer. Because of my previous professional and educational training in the media, I would consider myself a translator specialized in communication and marketing areas.
