Camila Carraro Mendes was born 29 June 1994 in the small town of Charlottesville in Virginia. Kamila's parents Victor and Giselle Mendez are Brazilians. She also has an older sister Vivian.

After Camila's birth, her family moved 16 times. Her father got promotions one after the other, but then her parents divorced, and Camila's mom and sister have been looking for a town where they could build a cozy family nest. They lived at home of their mother in Brazil when Camilla was 10 years old.

Finally, the family settled in Florida, where Mendes has spent most of her childhood.
By the way, her tattoo "to build a home" under the breast is connected with constant movings. Because of frequent relocations, Camilla realized that it is possible to find the stability only in harmony with herself.
