I've been editing text and translating between Czech and English for six years, and for the past two years I have been working as a translator for a Prague-based gallery. Being raised bi-lingual, I've always had an interest in language and its nuances—I enjoy improving and fine-tuning the stylistics, flow, and expressiveness of written text, whether directly through editing or as a part of translation. I'm most experienced in working with texts related to the arts, humanities and social sciences, but am also curious to broaden my knowledge toward other disciplines. |
