Source text - Korean 옛날에 큰 호랑이는 한 마리가 숲 속에서 살았다. 어느 날 호랑이는 배가 고파서 마을로 갔다. 마을 옆으로 밭에서 소 한 마리가 서 있었다. 호랑이는 소를 발견했다. 호랑이는 소를 먹고 싶은데 갑자기 시끄러운 아기 울음소리를 들었다. 밭 옆에 집으로 아기가 울고 있었다. 호랑이는 집으로 다가갔다.
‘아기가 맛있을 것 같아.’ 호랑이는 생각했다.
엄마가 아기에게 말했다. "아기야, 울음을 그치거라. 울음을 계속하면 호랑이가 오고 너를 잡아먹을 거야." 하지만, 아기는 시끄러운 울음을 그치지 않았다.
‘이 아기가 울음 그치지 않는걸 보니 나를 무섭지 않아하는군.’ 호랑이는 생각했다.
엄마가 아기에게 다시 말했다. "아기야, 울음을 그치면 곶감을 줄께."
그때 아기는 울음을 그쳤다. 호랑이는 깜짝 놀랐다.
Translation - German Es war einmal vor langer Zeit, da lebte ein großer Tiger in einem Wald. Eines Tages war der Tiger hungrig, also ging er in ein Dorf. In einem Feld neben dem Dorf graste eine Kuh, die der Tiger entdeckte. Der Tiger wollte die Kuh gerade fressen, als plötzlich ein lauter Kindesschrei zu hören war. Es weinte in einem Haus neben dem Feld. Der Tiger kam dem Haus näher.
"Ein Kind wäre lecker", dachte er.
Die Mutter sprach zum Kind: "Kind, hör mit dem Weinen auf. Wenn du nicht aufhörst, kommt dich der Tiger holen." Aber das Kind hörte zu Schreien nicht auf.
"Ah, das Kind hört nicht auf, zu schreien. Es fürchtet mich wohl nicht", dachte der Tiger.
Die Mutter sprach erneut zum Kind: "Kind, wenn du aufhörst zu weinen, gebe ich dir getrocknete Kaki." Da hörte das Kind auf.
