Buongiorno, vorrei pubblicare la traduzione di un testo del 1940 completo di più di 200 illustrazioni (tratte da libri di fiabe dal 1800 fino alle riedizioni contemporanee all'epoca di uscita di tale volume). La mia domanda riguarda il copyright: come traduttore (in selfpublishing) posso inserire nella traduzione tutte le immagini presenti nel testo originale?

A mio avviso a te come traduttore non deve importare nulla delle immagni. Credo che questo dovrebbe essere compito dell'editore che pubblicherà la tua traduzione.
