Chindu, go to http://www.omegat.org and familiarize yourself with the documentation. There is a tutorial for beginners, and the users' group on Yahoo is very helpful.
Once you've gotten started, you'll be in a better position to ask good questions.

I want to do translation from English to Hindi language using Omega t. I selected source language EN and target language HI. But in the editing pane the source language as well as the translated languages are in English only.
When I opened the target file, words doesn't appear proper as i used to get the Hindi words while translating without cat tools. So please help me how to get typed in Hindi.

Deepa

The way you type in depends on your operating system (which you did not specify). Please, consult the respective manual.

You must select a font (Options/Font) containing both English and Hindi characters.

The issue is nearly the same. In the target file, you must apply a font containing the Hindi characters.
