My name is Selen Tankur. I have been a qualified Linguist and working in Language field in London since 2006 and prior to this for seven years in Turkey. Since June 2011, I have been operating my own business in London named SET Education. As SET Education, we have been providing certified translations of the documents for official use in the UK and Turkey and Consecutive and Simultaneous Interpretation Services in London in a various contexts such as Business Conferences and Meetings, Academic Seminars, Police Investigations, Medical Treatments and Seminars, Parents Evenings, Council Services and psychotherapy sessions.

I have an extensive background in English and Turkish Language Studies, having achieved my Bachelor Degree Diploma in Turkey and my Master Degree Diploma in England.

As a fluent bi-linguist in English and Turkish, I have gained excellent inter-personal skills as I have mastered the necessary understanding of not simply the languages but the very different and unique cultural and traditional differences between these two societies (pragmatics). Understanding these essential qualities of both societies is critical in interpretation and translation services.
