My workload stays more or less steady, but I'm taking at least 15 days off, so my income in the months of July, August and September is often lower than in the other months.

Slump? As many translators take their summer vacations and I don’t, some years those are my best months. Besides that, I have a long-time customer who every year has a good volume of translations to be delivered at the end of September. Usually, I start receiving their projects in the beginning of August…

The work volume fluctuates anyway during the year, and I like to take some periods off to rest, recharge, spend more time with family.
