Born in London, I've also lived 2+ years in Japan, 4+ years in Spain, and 11 years in Germany.
In my background as a teacher of English as a foreign language, I have worked with medical professionals including specialists in the fields such as cardiology, haematology, anaesthesiology and general surgery, in hospitals and clinics, both in Spain and Germany. Through this fascinating experience I began to translate for the wonderful people I worked with, and gradually developed my specialisation. I particularly enjoy working on journal articles as I love the chance to learn something new.
As well as a UK degree in Linguistics, I also hold a Spanish degree in Composition, and have had pieces performed in Spain, Germany, the US and Argentina, and have given solo classical guitar recitals in the UK, Germany and Japan.
