Hello everyone, my name is Kate. 

I am currently studying a master's degree in translation studies with the language pair English and Japanese at the University of Western Australia in Perth, Western Australia.

I have been studying Japanese since I was a high school student and I am also a qualified Japanese high school teacher. I lived and worked in Japan for three years as part of the JET Programme as an assistant English teacher in a city west of Tokyo.

I passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test level N3 in December of 2019 and am currently studying for N2 in my spare time. 

I am looking to get as much translation practice as possible while I am studying. I would like to work in both directions of my language pair.
