原書のテキスト - 英語 Indeed, it is a long story, one that started in 1987 when a group of five young artists came to see me. I was a bit older than they were and they wanted to study with me. They started to come to my studio every Friday and I was a kind of teacher, even if I don't like the word teacher. I would say, rather, that I was a less-young artist. After five years of this practice some of them opened their own workshops with even younger people. It became like the branches of a tree and a kind of organic workshop with information and dialogue. Then we opened the gallery in Mexico in 2000, which was my idea because I thought it was time to open a different kind of gallery, not just because I needed one in Mexico, but also because there were all these artists without representation in Mexico.
