Of the multitude of known stochastic methods, (list of methods) can be emphasized/highlighted.
If you prefer an active construction, you could say "we can emphasize/highlight (list of methods)" It may even work better to say "(list of methods) stand out." I like this last one better for flow and 'native-soundingness'--but I'm not sure how well it fits with what comes afterward.

Thank you. Actually as used in a phrase "single" looses its "singular" meaning and is equal to "center out" (Longman Dictionary og Phrasal Verbs).I also added references.
