When you invoice your work [immediately after it's done or 5 years later] wouldn't change nothing about you respecting or not a contract that you agreed to - what counts is WHEN this work on the side was done.
Your sponsors would have no problem with you collecting at any time payments for work done BEFORE you started this "internship" - but any work done on the side DURING this "internship" - whenever invoiced - would justify them in possibly throwing a tantrum and showing their disapproval in one way or another. ▲ Collapse
