I work with Trados and need to deliver the translation memory compatible to Wordfast or in TMX formate. What does it mean ya how to do it?

Export to tmx Aug 12, 2009

If you do not have Wordfast you cannot deliver a Wf TM, but tmx is easy to import into Wordfast.

Just export ii, and selext "tmx" as export format Aug 12, 2009

If you know how to export th Trados TM into a text file, you will know how to export into *.tmx. It's easy! At the very end of the exportation process, when you see the window
"Creatr Expoert File", in "Type", select "TMX" as option (I don't know if Wordfast admits 1.1, 1.4 or 1.4b, you should check that before exporting).

Simplified instructions for TRADOS english interface Aug 12, 2009

-Open Trados Workbench
-Open the TRADOS memory to be exported as tmx
-Go to "File"
-Go to "Export"
-In the dialog box, clik on "OK"
-Choose the location where to save the tmx memory to.
-In "Type" choose: TMX 1.1 (*.tmx)
-Click on "save"

and that is it!
