I've recently started subtitling as a part-time job and I'm still currently trying to decide on a good software, hence why I decided to try the trial version of SubtitleNext. However, I can't seem to open the setup after downloading it because I don't have any program on my mac that is able to open it! Does anyone know how I can solve this problem? I'm new to the Macbook thing so I'm a bit lost (apparently The Unarchiver doesn't work).
Thank you!

Sorry to inform you that SubtitleNEXT does not have a version native to Mac. It'll never work. The only way to make it work is to use a virtual machine. Hope that helps.
