steel tubing buried in the ground

説明:
埋め込む=埋める = definition: bury (Shogakukan J-E Dictionary)

理込み bury in the ground
鋼管 steel tubing

steel tubing that's buried in the ground

Or, I think that "underground steel tubing" can work (depending on the context of the translation).

Yes, you are correct. The kanji are different....
As I had commented to cinefil, "I think I need glasses."

When I first saw the kanji, I actually saw it as 埋 instead of 理. But now, it looks perhaps to be a typo where 理込み should have been 埋込 i(ke)-ko(mu)...bury in the ground.
I really don't know since I do not know your translation details, but if it's about earth-quake proofing, it is a possibility.

回答者へのメモ
質問者: I think that the kanji used here is different. 埋め込む is not equal to 理込み. Please correct me if I am wrong.

中立  cinefil: buried は、埋設でしょうね。

  -> 1) I think I need glasses. :-) Actually, all I could see logically was 埋め込む=埋める/or i(ke)ko(mu). In any case, it means to bury. But, the other way using 理 seems strange to me.
