Another variation on the theme.
It is difficult to know what quality that this "輸出戦略の違い" has - is it "different" compared to the previous strategy of the same company or different compared to other rival companies? So there may be other appropriate terms depending on context, such as "a new strategy".
PS: I always prefer not to publish the company's real name (so "xxxx製作所" instead of "有沢製作所").

I cannot come up with much else - it¥'s not my day - and I have been leaving out indefinite and definite articles...

: Also, the original Japanese is pretty redundant, with 契機となったのは meaning basically the same thing as がきっかけ.

"...a difference in export strategy opened the door for Yuzawa Industries'...". I would change the form a little " It was a different export strategy what..."
