I would go with square as "open space" doesn't work well in this context but there may be an existing preferred translation so would check with the client.

Exchange Square or Exchange Plaza
I think either square or plaza would be acceptable.

Piazza or square
I think that "piazza" would be an interesting translation albeit a bit posh or European perhaps. Of course, square would be fine too. I'm just offering an alternative.
