I am a Native English speaker with 10+ years of academic Japanese language experience. I have worked in Japan for four years in Information Technology, which has given me a native level comprehension of the terminology used in the field. My field experience includes programming, networking, IT Project Management, and ITIL concepts. 1993: Began studying Japanese in the United States.
2000: Completed intensive one year language program for Japanese language at Nanzan University in Nagoya Japan.
2001: Graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a BA in Japanese and BS in Computer Information Systems.
2003: Passed the Level 1 (highest level) of the Japanese Proficiency Language Test.
2006/6: Completed studies at IUC, advanced school for Japanese language in Yokohama.
2006/7: Worked as full-time technical translator in Osaka.
