Some of our clients are relatevliy reluctant to pay via proz.com
How should we describe the safety and privacy terms of proz.com wallet to the?
Are there any refernces in press about this payment method? How does it compare to pay pal which does not provide srvice in our country.

Îïÿòü æå, Óêðàèíà - åùå ìåíåå ïîäâèíóòàÿ â ýòîì îòíîøåíèè ñòðàíà, îäíàêî îòñóòñòâèå ÏåéÏýëà ìíå íèêàê íå ìåøàåò. Åñòü êó÷à äðóãèõ ñïîñîáîâ, äîñòàòî÷íî íàäåæíûõ, õîòÿ è ðàçíûõ ïî ñêîðîñòè ïîëó÷åíèÿ äåíåã.

È åùå, íåäàâíî ìíå ðåäëîæèëè àëüòåðíàòèâó ÷åê èëè êàññîâûé ÷åê (cassiers\' cheque) â ìåñòíîé âàëþòå (ò.å. â ðóáëÿõ).

Our payment service is a rather informal offering, something we started on behalf of platinum members who did not have other options for receiving small payments.
You should know that when there are complications (various have arisen), it can take even weeks for a transfer to be made. And payments are usually small enough that we may collect several requests before going to the bank to make them. So use the service only if you are not in a hurry.

On the plus side, the ProZ.com payment service is comparatively easy for clients to use. They can pay by various methods, and they don\'t have to register with us (unlike paypal). Also, for small amounts, it beats wire transfer fees.
As for safety and privacy, we have taken all necessary precautions. Credit cards are handled by a third party, one of the largest credit card clearing organizations in the US, and your wallet history is visible to you only. ▲ Collapse

We use proz.com to receive very small payments.
So far it is the only way we see to receive such amounts.
We do not have any problems to cash out wire transfer or Cheque we receive.
Cashing out a Cheque in our city usually takes about month of time (the bank sends it back to USA) and $30 fee. The process is reliable though. So it is reasonable to use it only for amounts staring with $200 and higher.
