Another user interface term. Again, I need help from the experts in the field of programming, since the text is for programmers.
Sticky windows are windows you can see for example in Winamp(TM). There is one window, which is divided into subwindows, and those can be moved away, kind of "tearing apart" the original window. Another feature is that when you drop one of these subwindows near a neighboring window, it will pop back into place, without manually lining it up. That's why they are called "sticky".
I need the professional tech lingo for this, if there is one. References, sources other than Google hit figures are mostly appreciated.
Thanks.

It seems to me that "スティッキー" has already been used as it is, as you see in the first link. In Google, I could not find "スティッキーウインドウ" but "スティッキーなウインドウ". As you see, "な" may sound odd, but there are three sites that use "スティッキーなウインドウ".
Also, you may find some information about "sticky window" here;

Comment: "OK, katakana again - hooreey!
(Just kidding - I was hoping for something else.)
But, if this is the accepted use, let's go with it."
