What does the term '片舷分' mean here?
離散的に与えられる各 S.S. における半幅を y0、y1/2、y1、…、y10、S.S. の間隔を h（＝Lpp/10） とし、Simpson 第 1 法則を用いて水線面積を求める。A.P.～S.S.1、S.S.1～S.S.3、S.S.3～S.S.5、…、S.S.9～F.P. に対して順次 Simpson 第 1 法則を適用すれば、各領域における片舷分の水線面 積 a01、a13、a35、…、a910 は次式のように表すことができる。

片舷 is either left board or right board.
This 分 is more like 部分(part) but I personally don't find the necessity to translate it into English in this case.
Maybe 片舷分の水線面 is simply water plane of a broadside?
