Japanese term or phrase: 搬送 in English
What do you think is the best translation for 搬送? 搬送 pulp/polymer from a unit to a unit in the papermaking process. I assume "feed" or "feeding" is appropriate even though it is not a direct translation of 搬送.
ponta
English translation:transfer
Explanation:
As far as I know, the term "transfer" is commonly used in the papermaking industry:

------------------------------
The web is then transferred to the pressing section where more water is removed by dry felt and pressure.
Finally, the wet sheet is transferred to the press and dryer sections of the papermaking machine where enough water is removed to form a sheet of paper.

agree  Ben Price: Good link / it sounds better than "convey" in this sense.
