Una membrana epirretiniana (MER) es una hoja delgada de tejido cictricial que se forma sobre la superficie de la mácula. Se conoce esta condición por muchos otros nombres, incluidos la maculopatía de celofán, la fibrosis preretiniana y el pucker macular.
