Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

PRO (2): humbird, Will Matter

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Image Stabilization

This is a widely accepted and somewhat more concise term for the camera function that is being described here. You could also say "the Image Stabilization feature...." depending upon what happens to come before or after this term in your source text. HTH.
Peer comment(s):

agree Kurt Hammond : "Image stabilization" is the commonly accepted industry term for 手ぶれ補正. in this case, literally Still picture image stabilization . There was another similar question recently and the asker selected "anti-shake" which I think was incorrect.

still picture camera shake correction

Similar question already answered. See this:

Although 静止 is "still picture ".
Peer comment(s):

disagree Kurt Hammond : There was a similar question recently but I disagree with "shake correction" -that's a word for word translation. The commonly accepted English term is "image stabilization" - the correct term should be "still picture image stabilization"

Still Image Anti-Shake

Should this be ブレ instead of プレ?

Further to 'stabilization' versus 'anti-shake'- I have seen the phrase 'anti-shake' written on more than a few camera related promos, specs and ads. The phrase sticks out in my mind because it has a certain non-geek, call-a-spade-a-spade quality about it, not often seen in high-tech goods-related explanations. However, it may be merely the marketing phrase to target the non-technical. If it is it works.
